Anyone that knows me knows that aside from the dance aspects of my taste and amongst a plethora of other genres, I’m an avid prog rock and metal fan. Big into Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer. While I love djing dance music I also like to dabble in other genres like Hip hop, Reggae/Dance Hall, Latin or any and everything that tickles my fancy. So for a long time I’ve been thinking about putting together a bit of a Maynard Tribute Mix. This one only has Tool and APC remixes but I am working on another with Puscifer cuts and bootlegs.
Many “diehard” Tool or APC fans will undoubtedly hate this as it is very electronic based and heaven forbid we dare touch or change any of the bands involved original works! And they claim to be prying open their third eyes…. lol.
Anyway, I hope this finds a audience in the middle somewhere. Enjoy :)
